We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Reconciliation Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions and accounts within the ShopeePay platform. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions and accounts within the ShopeePay platform.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, variances, and irregularities in transaction data, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Product teams, to troubleshoot reconciliation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain reconciliation procedures, documentation, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze transaction patterns and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis on reconciliation activities, performance metrics, and key findings.
- Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes related to financial reconciliation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reconciliation, preferably within the e-commerce or fintech industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify root causes of discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software tools for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to payment processing and reconciliation.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Prior experience with reconciliation automation tools or systems is a plus.
