Description
The Project Manager will assist in projects and initiatives that benefit the business. They recognize the PMO's role in guiding and supporting the team to achieve successful delivery by applying their expertise and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to deliver programs/projects that meet customer and efficiency goals.
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s PMO documentation standards.
- Contribute to business cases, addressing costs, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Oversee project delivery, establish KPIs, and KRIs, and manage interdependencies.
- Manage financial and operational risks, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and external providers to achieve objectives.
- Provide clear progress reports and maintain project lifecycle documentation.
- Manage changes, ensuring proper assessment and agreement from relevant parties.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to lead, execute, and implement projects, ideally in Banking or Financial Services.
- Proven capability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively in uncertain situations.
- Knowledgeable in project management, agile delivery methods, and related tools.
- Able to apply appropriate methodologies based on the project and organizational requirements.
- Experienced in managing organizational changes and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Proficient in leading Steering Committees and Governance discussions.
- Skilled in using tools like MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile platforms.
