Coming off from completing its fresh venture funding, Plentina, a fintech app that allows Filipinos to purchase their goods and services through their favorite merchants and pay later on installments, launches its latest partnership with the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, Shopee.
Filipinos can download the Plentina app and avail of loans for vouchers to purchase items on the Shopee app, the country’s ultimate online shopping destination.
Plentina is proud to offer loans that have 0% interest and flat service and late fees.
“As the holiday season approaches, we are very excited to offer Plentina’s fast and convenient digital loans to Shopee customers to purchase gifts for their loved ones. We believe in responsible borrowing and Filipino customers have been looking for more options to pay on credit beyond the credit card.
With its extensive selection of merchandise and its wide delivery coverage, Shopee provides our users access to an amazing assortment of products.”
said Earl Valencia, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder of Plentina.
Opening a Plentina account is very easy. Filipinos can download the Plentina app from the Google Play Store, fill out the customer information form, and submit one government ID.
Upon successful verification, they can already avail of loan offers as low as P100 from the comfort of their homes. They can also apply for a credit boost in the app.
Users can look forward to even better deals with convenient payment options when they use Plentina to shop at Shopee’s 11.11-12.12 Big Christmas Sale, the platform’s biggest sale of the year.
Once users select the Shopee voucher offer, they will receive a code in the app.
All they have to do next is copy the code and paste this in the Voucher section on their Checkout page, and the amount will automatically be deducted from their purchase on Shopee.
Users can choose up to P1500 worth of Shopee vouchers, subject to their credit limit with Plentina.
With Shopee vouchers now on Plentina, users no longer have to wait for pay day before enjoying Shopee’s Big Christmas Sale.
Plentina is one of the leading fintech companies in the country, with the Plentina app having surpassed 100,000 downloads since its launch just last year.
The company offers store credit for essential purchases such as groceries, medicine, food, and office supplies.
Plentina aims to provide financial access to the majority of Filipinos who do not have access to fair credit options.
Last April, they announced their multi-million dollar seed funding round led by top Silicon Valley and local investors as one of the largest seed rounds for any Filipino-led start-up focused on the Philippines and the region.
