Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) has introduced the GoBayani savings account, a new digital deposit account for overseas Filipinos.
The GoBayani account offers Filipinos abroad access to LANDBANK’s digital banking services, allowing them to manage transactions online, such as transferring funds to their families.
The account also supports e-commerce transactions and remittances via Visa Direct through Visa partners.
GoBayani users can pay bills and other dues online, with future capabilities including payments to the Pag-Ibig Fund, Social Security System (SSS), and PhilHealth.
Overseas Filipinos can open a GoBayani savings account without an initial deposit or maintaining balance through the LANDBANK mobile banking app.
The app enables users to open accounts, including LANDBANK PISO Plus basic deposit accounts and regular Visa debit accounts, facilitating savings and financial management.
The LANDBANK app provides seamless online fund transfers, bill payments, balance inquiries, and salary loan services.
Customers will have access to free fund transfers to other banks via InstaPay and PESONet for the first three daily transactions worth PHP 1,000 and below.
To open a LANDBANK account, users need their smartphones with the latest app version, a secure internet connection, and any valid identification cards such as a Philippine Passport, Driver’s License, SSS, UMID, PRC ID, or PhilSys ID.

“We are cheering on our kababayans abroad to save and grow their money through LANDBANK GoBayani. We want to support every step of their journey towards financial independence for them and their families back home.
Investing in our digital infrastructure forms part of our response to the increasing demand for convenient digital solutions. We are continuously enhancing our digital offerings to deliver a seamless banking experience to our customers and expand financial access to all,”
said Lynette V. Ortiz, LANDBANK’s President and CEO.
