Singaporean fintech MatchMove has partnered with LuLu Financial Services (Phils.) Inc., Asia United Bank (AUB), and Mastercard to launch the Lulu Money Prepaid Mastercard card in the Philippines.
This move enhances the capabilities of the LuLu Money PH app with expanded financial tools.
A key feature allows Filipinos working in the UAE to send money home, with recipients in the Philippines able to withdraw funds from Mastercard-affiliated ATMs and make purchases online and in stores.
Beyond remittances, the collaboration enables the LuLu Money PH app to support both local and international payments, providing users with greater financial flexibility and security.
The collaboration aims to provide a more convenient and secure remittance solution for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).
The service is also set to expand to OFWs in other countries, reinforcing LuLu Money PH as a global remittance and digital payment platform.
AUB President Manuel A. Gomez noted that the partnership aligns with the bank’s vision of becoming the ‘Digital Partner of Choice’ for fintech firms like MatchMove and LuLu Money, reinforcing its commitment to secure and innovative digital payment solutions.

“MatchMove is proud to power the Lulu Money Prepaid Mastercard card, a game-changing solution in the Philippines’ digital payments landscape. Our collaboration exemplifies our mission to deliver innovative, secure, and user-centric financial solutions. Together, we’re unlocking greater financial freedom, security, and convenience for users, while fostering economic inclusion and digital transformation in the region.
With the Lulu Money Prepaid Mastercard card, we salute the unsung bayani of the Philippines: the OFWs. We’re honored to empower these modern-day heroes with seamless remittances, secure transactions, and financial flexibility, so they can provide for their loved ones back home and build a brighter future,”
said Amar Abrol, President and Chief Commercial Officer of MatchMove.

“With the collaboration with MatchMove, AUB and Mastercard, we have completed the entire loop of our super remittance app.
Aside from game-changing inbound and outbound remittance features, our app will be enabled for local and international payments with this arrangement,”
added Don Alair, Deputy General Manager of LuLu Financial Services (Phils.), Inc. and Head for the e-wallet business.
Simon Calasanz, Country Manager, Philippines, Mastercard, remarked:
“The arrangement with AUB, MatchMove, and LuLu Money highlights Mastercard’s commitment to powering economies and empowering people with accessible digital financial solutions.
This collaboration aims to provide a seamless digital payments experience for OFWs and their families.
With Mastercard’s extensive network, users gain greater access to ATMs and merchants across the country.
Given the vital role OFW remittances play in driving the Philippine economy, this initiative offers added ease and convenience for both OFWs and their families, enhancing existing money transfer channels and making digital payments more accessible.”
