The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) introduced “BSP Mobile” on April 14, 2025, a new mobile phone application designed to improve access to BSP and other financial information and services for Filipinos and investors.
During the launch ceremony at the BSP head office in Manila, BSP Deputy Governor Bernadette Romulo-Puyat highlighted the app’s role in strengthening the BSP’s connection with the public.

“The BSP Mobile App is our way of staying connected with the public. It allows users to check key rates and public announcements, locate coin deposit machines or BSP offices, file complaints through our chatbot BOB, and stay updated with BSP news and advisories,” said BSP Bernadette.
Managing Director Charina B. De Vera-Yap emphasised the app’s user-centric design, noting its accessibility even offline and its personalisation features.
The app leverages device-specific functionalities, including push notifications and location services, to enhance the user experience.
Key features include a service locator for BSP regional offices, real-time push notifications for news and advisories, BOB for consumer complaints against BSP-supervised institutions, and an interactive feature showcasing the design and security elements of the 1000-Piso Polymer Banknote.
Director Reynaldo Florencio T. Zipagan encouraged users to actively promote the app and provide feedback for its improvement. Developed in-house, the app complements the BSP website by delivering a personalised, mobile-optimised experience.
The BSP plans to further develop the app by adding more features and services. BSP Mobile is now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
