The organisation first announced that it is preparing for the Manila Tech Summit in August 2025. The event, focused on “Forging a New Global Order: Risks and Opportunities Redefined,” will bring together international minds to discuss the evolving technological landscape.
Announced by Founding Chairman Lito Villanueva, the summit has already garnered international backing from several countries. The United States and the United Kingdom are two countries that are said to be joining. Recent international collaborations provide a foundation for such an effort.
For instance, a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Government aims to boost fintech cooperation, with a focus on financial inclusion and AI innovation.
Secondly, Fintech Alliance.PH unveiled its efforts in addressing the critical areas of cybersecurity and responsible AI. The organisation, in partnership with groups like the Analytics and AI Association of the Philippines, launched the Alliance AI Circle of Excellence.
