Revolut officially launched a new Global Tech Hub in Manila, Philippines, on 9 July 2025, aiming to enhance Revolut’s global capabilities and accelerate innovation.
The establishment of the Manila hub reinforces Revolut’s commitment to the Southeast Asian region and integrates the Philippines into its global growth strategy.
Revolut expects the tech hub to create hundreds of jobs in the Philippines in the near future, particularly within customer service functions. These roles will collaborate with Revolut teams across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas.
The hub is designed to provide advanced service support and assist in driving innovation as Revolut continues its global expansion.
Raymond Ng, Chief Executive Officer for Singapore & Southeast Asia at Revolut, stated, “This investment reflects our long-term commitment to the Philippines and our confidence in its growth potential”.
He added that the hub “will play a vital role in scaling our global capabilities while creating high-value jobs and driving digital upskilling locally”.
Raymond also noted that their hiring plans are not a short-term initiative as they see the Philippines as a strategic market for Revolut’s growth in Southeast Asia.
Secretary Ralph G. Recto of the Department of Finance (DOF) welcomed Revolut’s decision, highlighting the Philippines as a suitable location for fintech and innovation.
Martin Kent, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner (HMTC) for Asia Pacific at the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade, also commented on the development, acknowledging the Philippines’ skilled talent and digital capabilities.
This Manila hub is Revolut’s second technology hub in Asia, following the opening of its first hub in India in 2021.
