JuanHand Earns Green Flag for Responsible Lending by FILFLAG

JuanHand has been awarded the Green Flag status by the Filipino Fair Loans Advocacy Group (FILFLAG). FILFLAG, described as one of the country’s largest borrower associations, grants this distinction to online lending platforms (OLPs) that meet its standards for transparency, fairness, and responsible lending.
JuanHand received recognition for its interest rates, transparent repayment terms, ethical collection practices, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Francisco Roberto “Coco” D.C. Mauricio, President and Chief Executive Officer of WeFund Lending Corp. (JuanHand), commented on the recognition.
He stated that the company feels honoured and grateful for FILFLAG’s recognition.

He added that it “helps validate what we have been advocating and practising from the onset: providing financial services in a dignified, compliant, and courteous manner, enabled by cutting-edge AI”.
Mauricio also stated that JuanHand deeply value this recognition from FILFLAG as it’s a testament that Filipinos can choose a trusted, credible, and proven online lending brand for their basic financial needs.
JuanHand, which is celebrating its sixth anniversary, provides credit solutions to underserved Filipinos. As of 2025, the platform has disbursed over P55 billion in nano-loans to more than 2.5 million borrowers.
The Green Flag status positions JuanHand among fintech firms that adhere to ethical digital lending practices. This recognition also indicates the platform’s commitment to collaborating with regulators, consumer advocacy groups, and relevant stakeholders to improve industry standards.
FILFLAG, established in 2023, aims to advocate for equitable lending practices, safeguard borrower rights, and promote responsible borrowing.
