Financial technology app GCash, through its official lending arm Fuse Financing Inc., is providing a 15-day grace period for its GLoan and GGives borrowers in areas affected by recent typhoons and the “Habagat” monsoon.
GCash will automatically extend loan repayments with due dates between July 19 and July 31, 2025, by 15 days. For example, a payment due on July 21 will have its deadline moved to August 5.
During this extension period, borrowers will not incur any penalties, additional interest, or late fees, allowing them to focus on recovery without added financial pressure. GCash confirmed that eligible borrowers will receive SMS notifications detailing their new due dates.

“We stand with the communities affected by the recent onslaught of typhoons and are committed to helping them rebuild their lives,” said Tony Isidro, president and CEO of Fuse Financing.
“Every single effort counts, and together, we can make a significant difference,” he continued.
The grace period covers numerous areas, including select cities in the National Capital Region and provinces across Regions I, III, IV-A, IV-B, VI, and VII, such as Pangasinan, Bataan, Cavite, and Cebu City.
The company noted that the list of eligible locations may expand if the government declares additional areas under a state of calamity. Customers seeking clarification can file a ticket through the GCash Help Centre within the app.
