The Social Security System (SSS) and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) have partnered to launch the MySSS Card powered by RCBC DiskarTech. This new all-in-one debit card integrates SSS services with the digital banking features of RCBC’s DiskarTech application.
The card allows SSS members to access and withdraw their benefits and other proceeds through the DiskarTech app. It also functions as a standard debit card for a range of financial transactions.
Cardholders can make payments at merchants that accept QRPH, perform cardless withdrawals at RCBC ATMs, and use the physical Mastercard debit card at any Bancnet ATM nationwide.
Additionally, the card can be used as a tap-to-pay method for fares on the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 train lines.
The associated DiskarTech account includes a savings product, access to microinsurance, and allows for bank transfers to other banks and e-wallets for a PHP 8.00 fee. The platform also offers rewards for mobile load purchases and bill payments, with loan products planned for future release.
To apply, SSS members must first log in to the MySSS portal and select RCBC DiskarTech as their chosen financial institution.
Applicants will then need to download the RCBC DiskarTech app from their device’s app store. To complete the registration, they must use the transaction number from the SSS portal and a valid government ID for electronic verification (eKYC).
Key eligibility requirements include having a PhilSys Number and an updated MySSS account. Applicants must also not have an existing UMID Pay Card or an active DiskarTech account.
A promotional period for the new card will run from September 26 to October 31, 2025. During this time, eligible applicants can avail themselves of the MySSS Card for free.
