Mynt, the operator of GCash, has doubled its income earnings during the first three months of the year.

This strong financial performance arrives at a critical time as the digital wallet operator prepares for a major stock market debut.

The parent company of the GCash platform is reportedly seeking a valuation of at least USD 8 billion for its upcoming domestic public listing.

Mynt aims to raise around USD 1 billion later this year, making these robust quarterly earnings crucial for bolstering investor confidence.

Income attributable to major shareholder Globe Telecom surged to PHP 1.9 billion for the quarter ending March 2026.

This figure represents a 120% increase compared to the previous financial period.

Martha Sazon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mynt, stated that the latest results show the platform is no longer just a digital wallet.

“Our latest results are a clear signal that GCash is no longer just a digital wallet but a primary engine of the digital economy of the Philippines,” Sazon said.

She noted that the quarterly growth reflects their success in scaling high-impact services like lending and wealth management.

The executive added that the company remains true to its core mission of nationwide financial inclusion.

Recent data from Philippine Payments Management Incorporated shows the platform remains the top InstaPay destination by transaction volume.

The company also supported users by waiving transaction fees for remittances sent by overseas workers in the Middle East.

Furthermore the firm collaborated with the government to enable the fast and efficient delivery of fuel subsidies.

Its credit arm Fuse Financing expanded access to fair lending with total disbursements reaching PHP 406 billion.

This lending volume marks a 60% increase compared to the previous year.

The platform has provided credit to over 11.1 million unique borrowers using its proprietary trust scoring system GScore.

Its investment feature GStocks PH currently serves 1.9 million registered investors following a 64% expansion.

Meanwhile the GInsure service has sold over 192.4 million policies representing a 274% jump from the previous year.

The company also expanded internationally by allowing users to transfer money to foreign banks across 16 countries.
