Mynt, the parent company of the digital wallet GCash, has submitted its Registration Statement to the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission and also filed an application for listing on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange for its highly anticipated IPO.
The proposed initial public offering is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of the year, according to Mynt’s press release.
The offering could raise up to US$ 1.51 billion (PHP 92.3 billion) based on a target offer price of US$ 0.16 (PHP 10.00) per share.
This financial projection assumes the full exercise of the overallotment option for secondary common shares.
The IPO of GCash operator Mynt will consist of up to 8.02 billion common shares to represent approximately 12% of the issued capital stock.
This equity stake could increase to 13.8% if market investors fully exercise the overallotment option.
The digital platform processed US$ 277.82 billion (PHP 17.0 trillion) in gross transaction value during the fiscal year ending 31 December 2025.
Mynt recorded US$ 1.30 billion (PHP 79.8 billion) in gross revenues and US$ 281.09 million (PHP 17.2 billion) in net income during the same period.
Martha Sazon, President and CEO of Mynt, stated that these strong financial metrics reflect the operational sustainability of the digital platform.
Sazon noted that the application now serves 39.1 million monthly active users, representing nearly half of the adult population in the country.
