The integration adds mobile load to a list of everyday expenses Atome customers already pay for through the app, including groceries, utility bills, and household essentials.
Atome has issued more than 3 million cards in the Philippines, with 65% of cardholders women and 80% first-time cardholders.
The company said groceries, food, household items, and utility bills remain the top use cases for the card.

“Mobile load is a monthly fixed cost for almost every Filipino household, it belongs alongside groceries and utility bills as something you plan and budget for,” said Christian Eugene Quiros, President and General Manager of Atome Philippines.
He said the ECPay integration lets Atome’s cardholders top up their load anywhere and manage it as part of their monthly spending, while earning Atome rewards points.
ECPay President and CEO Maria Patricia Antonia Pascual said mobile load remains essential to how millions of Filipinos work, pay bills, and stay connected, and that the partnership reflects how ECPay’s nationwide network can make services more accessible and reliable.
Part of ECPay’s Growing Fintech Partner Network
The Atome tie-up follows a similar deal ECPay struck with Skyro in April, which let Skyro customers repay loans through ECPay’s network of over-the-counter and digital touchpoints nationwide, spanning convenience stores, pawnshops, sari-sari stores, and partner e-wallets.
