Coins.ph and Skyro have signed a partnership to expand digital payments and disbursement infrastructure in the Philippines, formalised during the ASEAN Tech Summit.

Coins.ph CEO Wei Zhou and Global Marketing Director Amira Alawi signed on behalf of Coins.ph, while Skyro was represented by co-founders and co-CEOs Arsen Liametov and Nasim Aliev, along with President Anthony Co.

The partnership covers QR Ph Scan-to-Pay, QR Ph payment acceptance, and disbursement services, built around the national QR code standard.

Through the integration, consumers gain access to interoperable payments across Skyro’s network of more than 10,000 partner stores and 4,000 offline and online merchant partners nationwide.

Skyro, in turn, will use Coins.ph’s payout infrastructure for cash distributions, credit payouts, loan disbursements, and merchant settlements, letting partner businesses process instant bulk payouts.

“Partnering with Skyro allows us to expand the reach of our robust financial infrastructure and drive real, everyday utility for millions of users,” said Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph.

Anthony Co, President of Skyro, said the agreement accelerates the company’s roadmap toward a fully integrated digital financial ecosystem, adding that robust QR Ph acceptance and payout rails help keep Skyro’s products available as fintech adoption spreads beyond Metro Manila into regional provinces.

The partnership arrives as digital payment transactions in the Philippines reached nearly PHP25 trillion in 2025, according to BSP data, driven by a 216.7% surge in transaction volume through InstaPay and PESONet.

Coins.ph and Skyro plan to roll out the integrated payment and disbursement options across their platforms in the coming months.

The Summit Had More Than One Headline

The ASEAN Tech Summit 2026 produced several announcements, including this partnership, and listed both Coins.ph and Skyro (operating as Advanced Finance Solutions, Inc.) among its sponsors.

The same summit saw Binance name Jen Bilango as its Philippines General Manager and BlockShoals join FinTech Alliance PH, alongside the launch of the 2026 Philippine FinTech Report.
