BPI Wealth, the asset and wealth management arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, has selected BlackRock’s Aladdin investment and wealth management platform to strengthen its asset and wealth management capabilities.
The move is part of BPI Wealth’s broader push to modernise its advisory services, data-driven insights and investment solutions for a growing client base.
Aladdin will let BPI Wealth bring risk analytics, portfolio management tools and operational workflows into a single system, helping it manage complexity across multi-asset portfolios while delivering more precise, timely investment insights for clients’ onshore and offshore managed portfolios.

“Selecting Aladdin marks a pivotal step in our journey to elevate our wealth management capabilities to global standards,” said Maria Theresa Marcial, President and CEO of BPI Wealth. “As client expectations evolve and markets become more complex, we recognise the need for institutional-grade technology to support tailored solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional investors.”
Through the partnership, BPI Wealth joins a global network of asset managers that use Aladdin to manage risk and investment processes at scale.
James Verner, BlackRock’s APAC Head of Aladdin Business Development, said clients are increasingly seeking cross-border investments with rising expectations for consistency, transparency and operational resilience.
He added that bringing Aladdin Enterprise and Aladdin Wealth into a connected ecosystem should help BPI Wealth’s teams deliver more personalised client experiences at scale.
