Maya has re-enabled on-chain crypto deposits, letting verified users transfer supported tokens into the app from external wallets and exchanges, BitPinas reported.
Users can again move crypto into Maya from local platforms such as Coins.ph and the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), as well as international exchanges like Coinbase.
Inbound transfers had faced intermittent access before the fix. In-app crypto trading and conversion to Philippine pesos continued to work during that time.
Receiving Crypto in the Maya App
Users can open the crypto section of the Maya app, select the token they want to receive and choose a network, according to Maya’s help page. The app then generates a wallet address and a QR code to share with the sending platform.
Transfer progress and confirmations appear in the app’s transaction history.
Maya Crypto offers more than 30 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP, according to BitPinas. Users should check that the token and network they send match what Maya supports, as transfers on the wrong network may not be recoverable.
