GCash has launched GSukli, a feature that lets customers receive their loose change directly into their GCash wallet instead of carrying it home, according to GCash’s own newsroom.
The feature is free to use and is now live at all Bench branches nationwide, with more Suyen Corporation brands set to add it soon.
At participating cashiers, customers give their registered GCash mobile number at checkout.
GCash credits the change directly to the customer’s wallet for transactions with change up to PHP 199.99, and sends an SMS confirmation once the transfer goes through.
From there, the balance can be used across GCash’s usual services, from paying bills and buying mobile load to sending money and shopping online.

“Small amounts can go a long way when made easily accessible. This newest feature reflects the commitment of GCash to making financial tools more practical and inclusive by helping users seamlessly move between cash and digital transactions,” said Barbie Dapul, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for Consumer Business at G-Xchange, Inc. (GXI).
Bryan C. Lim, Vice President for Business Development at Bench, said the partnership gives customers a practical way to put their sukli to use while making checkout faster for every in-store visit.
GSukli gives Filipinos who still pay with cash a direct route into GCash’s wallet, without needing to set aside or carry their change.
GXI positions the feature as part of a broader push to make its financial services useful for everyday, small-value transactions, not just larger purchases or transfers.
