Visa is more than doubling its office footprint at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, according to InsiderPH.
The payments company is relocating from about 4,000 square meters at Five E-com Center to a 9,000-square-meter facility at Four E-com Center, remaining within the same business district.
The expanded space houses the Visa Philippines Solution Center, bringing administrative, financial and technology functions together under a 24/7 operating model.
SM Offices and Visa formalised the expansion through a lease agreement.
Chari Dela Cruz
“Expanding to Four E-com Center was a natural decision as we continue to grow our business and support our people,” said Chari Dela Cruz, Vice President, Global Managed Services and Visa Philippines Solution Center Site Lead.
“The E-com campus offers a strategic, well-connected location with the accessibility and amenities that make it an ideal environment for our growing team.”
Alexis Ortiga
“Today’s workplace plays a far more strategic role in organizational performance. Large companies are increasingly looking for spaces that can bring more of their operations together while giving them the flexibility to grow over time,” said Alexis Ortiga, Vice President and Business Unit Head at SM Offices.
Arquitectonica designed Four E-com Center, a LEED Gold-certified premium office development featuring three crystalline towers with an all-glass façade and a fifth-level open-air sky garden.
The development sits within the E-com campus, directly linked to SM Mall of Asia Complex through an all-weather bridgeway, and near Lanson Place, which offers hotel accommodations and event facilities.
Visa’s expansion adds to signs of sustained multinational demand for Philippine office locations capable of accommodating larger, more integrated operations.
