Security Bank Corporation, a universal bank in the Philippines, has partnered with the e-commerce platform Lazada Philippines to offer its retail banking products to online shoppers. This collaboration was marked by the launch of Security Bank’s virtual LazMall Flagship Store.
Through the Security Bank LazMall Flagship Store, Lazada users can browse and apply for the Bank’s Auto Loan, Home Loan, Credit Cards, and Deposit products directly via the platform. Customers will be able to receive instructions from Security Bank through email and SMS to proceed with their applications and can also access exclusive benefits for using the online store.
Rahul Rasal, Executive Vice President and Retail Banking Segment Head at Security Bank commented on the partnership, saying,
“We’re excited to launch this partnership with Lazada to reach more customers and provide them with innovative and convenient banking solutions.”
He further stated that the LazMall Flagship Store is intended to make Security Bank’s products more accessible to the growing online market, particularly younger, tech-savvy consumers.
This collaboration allows Security Bank to cater to an increasing online customer base, aiming to maintain quality and performance.
Sheryll Nito, Commercial Director of Lazada Philippines, noted Lazada’s aim to deliver a trusted online shopping experience, stating,
“Security Bank is one of our valued financial partners, and as we welcome them to LazMall, we look forward to providing more consumers with access to quality retail banking products.”
The partnership between Security Bank and Lazada Philippines represents a move towards integrating retail banking into the digital shopping experience, reflecting the evolving needs and preferences of modern consumers.
