Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) has announced its plan to privatise UCPB Savings Bank (UCPB-SB).

The move is part of efforts to streamline operations and improve customer service.

Privatisation will enable LANDBANK to concentrate on its priority sectors and contribute to government development programmes.

UCPB-SB is expected to benefit from new growth opportunities and enhance its commercial performance under private ownership.

LANDBANK has assured customers that banking services, including accounts, loans, and deposits, will continue without disruption, and existing relationships will remain intact.

The bank also highlighted that deposits and investments will remain secure during the transition.
