VBank Taps Former Netbank Executive, Young Paul Raneses as COO and CPO

VBank, a digital-centric banking initiative under the LCS Group of Companies, has appointed Young Paul Raneses as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO).
The dual-role appointment is part of a strategic move to accelerate the bank’s transformation and expand its presence in emerging market segments.
As both COO and CPO, Raneses will lead the bank’s product strategy, user experience design, platform innovation, and all end-to-end operations. This includes overseeing core banking processes, internal systems, service delivery, and customer support.
The bank’s renewed focus will be on scalability, reliability, and customer-centric design to address the needs of both everyday users and digital sectors.

Before joining VBank, Raneses led the Mobile Retail Banking business line at Netbank, where he launched the Netbank Mobile platform.
He also spearheaded the development of Netbank’s Account-as-a-Service (AaaS) solution, which enabled other fintech companies and e-money issuers to offer white-labelled banking services.
VBank is a licensed banking initiative under the LCS Group of Companies, which was founded by former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson.
The venture aims to become a platform for inclusive finance, connecting consumers, entrepreneurs, and digital businesses.
