This initiative aims to bring banking services closer to homes, workplaces and daily routines outside of traditional branch hours.
The service targets small business owners, freelancers and individuals who handle physical currency regularly.
Customers can access the new cash deposit kiosks at convenience stores, malls, groceries and community centres.
Partner locations currently include Alfamart, Puregold, Lawson O Save and Puremart.
Albert Raymond Cuadrante, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer at UnionBank, stated that the bank continues to design services around how customers live and work today.

“With ECPay kiosks, we expand access to cash deposit services and provide greater convenience so banking services are easier to reach as part of customers’ everyday routines,” Cuadrante said.
The system features real-time posting, allowing deposited funds to be credited instantly for immediate use.
Customers can use the deposited money immediately for bill payment, online purchases, or everyday expenses.
Patricia Pascual, President and Chief Executive Officer of ECPay, said the partnership reinforces their commitment to bringing essential financial services closer to citizens.

“By making cash deposits available at thousands of kiosks nationwide, we help customers maximise their precious time and manage their money more conveniently, any day, anytime,” Pascual added.
The deposit process features a user-friendly interface designed for first-time users.
Customers can deposit up to PHP 10,000 per transaction, offering a practical option for quick funding.
This new channel complements the existing nationwide network of branches and automated teller machines operated by the bank.
