Sterling Bank of Asia has selected the Infosys Finacle Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to drive its next-generation digital transformation.
The strategic technology shift will replace legacy infrastructure with advanced automation systems, according to an official press release.
The bank will deploy a suite of digital applications, including Finacle Core Banking, Customer Data Hub, Trade Finance, and Origination solutions.
By shifting to a cloud-hosted framework, the thrift bank intends to lower initial infrastructure investments while simplifying day-to-day IT operational complexities.
The new deployment pattern allows the financial institution to access periodic software upgrades, security patches, and structural feature enhancements automatically.
This technical flexibility will help the domestic bank scale its operations on demand to meet evolving transaction volumes in the country.

Infosys Finacle, operated by EdgeVerve Systems, has been steadily growing its footprint within the domestic financial landscape.
