South Asialink Finance Corporation (SAFC) has officially announced a new executive leadership transition as the company appointed Maricel Dejongoy to serve as its incoming President and CEO effective July 1.
Dejongoy brings extensive institutional expertise gathered from her tenure across the wider Asialink Group of Companies.
She previously worked as the Auto and Truck Loan Group Head at Asialink Finance Corporation.
In her prior role, she managed critical lending verticals and supported broad business expansion initiatives.
The incoming chief executive stated her dedication to building upon the strong operational momentum established by previous management.
She plans to use this foundation as a springboard to propel the financing firm toward greater scale and impact.
Concurrent with this leadership change, former head Kevin N. Cabanban transitioned to the Deputy Group Chief Executive Office.
Cabanban previously led the financial institution for over a year, where he focused on recalibrating core business operations.
Established over two decades ago, SAFC operates as a leading non-bank financial institution in the Philippines.
The firm manages a nationwide network of approximately one hundred branches to deliver accessible credit solutions.
The financial provider specifically caters to micro, small, and medium enterprises to help drive regional economic growth.
Dejongoy emphasised her goal to expand product reach and ensure more local consumers secure a reliable financing partner.
