Under the agreement, SAFC will adopt BDO’s Cash Management suite, including on-site cheque writing, Auto-Credit Service, Outward Payment, enhanced Bills Payment, and the Auto Debit Arrangement (ADA).
The tie-up gives SAFC access to more than 1,600 BDO branches nationwide, alongside 24/7 access via BDO’s digital banking channels, for faster payment and collection processing.

“Cash management is the backbone of financing. By adopting BDO’s Cash Management solutions, we speed up every transaction and make payments completely hassle-free for the businesses and communities we serve,” said Maricel Dejongoy, President and Chief Executive Officer of SAFC.
SAFC Chief Operating Officer Azenith Cabrera said the shift means fewer manual steps and faster processing across the company’s disbursement and collection cycles, giving its operations team the tools to scale while keeping transactions secure and accountable.
BDO’s Monina Elena Camigla, Deputy Department Head for Institutional Banking – Financial Institutions and International Desks, noted that the collaboration exemplifies the enduring relationships the bank seeks with its institutional clients.
She added that BDO intends to reliably support SAFC’s nationwide expansion by tailoring its financial solutions to the company’s specific business objectives.
SAFC, a non-bank financial institution founded in 2003, operates close to 100 branches across the Philippines and focuses on financing for individuals and MSMEs.
The partnership comes about a month after SAFC named Maricel Dejongoy as its new President and CEO, and follows a PHP 5 billion syndicated loan facility SAFC closed earlier this year led by UnionBank, with Land Bank of the Philippines and EastWest Bank as co-lenders.
