Netbank has expanded its partnership with JIA Finance to embed account opening directly within JIA’s platform, as announced by Netbank on LinkedIn.
The integration helps SME borrowers onboard more easily while streamlining settlements for JIA’s invoice financing product.
The move builds on a loan-channeling partnership the two companies first struck in early 2025. It was under which JIA assigned loans through Netbank’s infrastructure to scale its invoice financing business in the Philippines.
Netbank said combining JIA’s financing expertise with its own digital banking infrastructure creates a faster, more connected financing experience for Philippine SMEs.
JIA Finance provides invoice financing that lets SMEs convert unpaid receivables into cash. This is an alternative to the collateral-based lending that has historically excluded many small businesses from bank credit.
Netbank operates as a licensed banking-as-a-service (BaaS) platform, providing accounts, payments, cards, and lending infrastructure that fintechs and platforms can embed under their own brand.
The company has built out a wide roster of similar partnerships in the Philippines. Partnerships which includes with consumer finance platform Skyro, lending platform JuanHand, and digital lender Salmon.
Netbank raised a Series B round led by Altara Ventures in April 2026. The bank reported a 88% year-on-year revenue growth and its first year of profitability in FY2025.
