The bank said the move targets an estimated 7 million and growing Huawei device users across the country.
These users can now open an account, access savings, and manage their finances without going through a third-party app store.
AppGallery is Huawei’s official app platform.
It has logged more than 180 billion downloads and 390 million monthly active users worldwide, across over 170 countries and regions.
GoTyme said the launch brings enhanced security and streamlined automatic updates to Huawei users.
This gives them the same full-featured banking experience already available on other platforms.

Huawei Philippines Consumer Business Group CEO Forrest Tang said the partnership gives Huawei’s Philippine user base direct, seamless access to trusted digital financial services.
He added that this comes through the company’s own official platform.
Through the app, Huawei users can open an account, access high-yield savings, and transfer funds.
They can also spend with rewards and manage their finances through the same interface available on other mobile ecosystems.
GoTyme said it plans to continue expanding across relevant mobile ecosystems to support broader financial inclusion nationwide.
GoTyme South Africa Already Made This Move
The Philippine launch follows a similar move by GoTyme Bank South Africa, part of the same Tyme Group family.
It has already distributed its app through Huawei AppGallery and recently surpassed 4 million downloads there.
