Housed in the former Far East Bank Building, the facility represents the bank’s first full “phygital” flagship, a concept designed to integrate digital transaction efficiency with personalised, physical service.
The branch features BPI’s first open-branch layout, which removes traditional barriers to improve visibility and interaction between clients and bank staff.

“We want everyone who steps through our doors, whether they are long-time clients, friends, or guests, to feel valued,” said BPI Consumer Banking Head Maria Cristina “Ginbee” Go. “Looking around, you will see our vision brought to life. This is our first open branch layout, designed specifically to remove barriers.”
The model combines human advice with digital readiness. Key features include private meeting pods for financial consultations and a concierge-led “Quick-Transact” lane that guides clients through app-based and assisted digital transactions.
The space also offers hybrid touchpoints for customers who prefer self-service options.
Beyond standard banking facilities, the branch includes lifestyle amenities such as a lobby café kiosk, an outdoor business garden for informal meetings, and five ATMs positioned for faster access.
The building also emphasises sustainability, running on renewable energy through the Green Option Program. It incorporates daylight optimisation, energy-efficient lighting, and low-VOC materials.
Additionally, the site houses a dedicated HR recruitment area and a wellness studio intended for employee engagement and development programmes.
BPI stated that the Buendia Center will serve as a blueprint for its future branches, aiming to redefine everyday banking by merging physical warmth with digital speed.
