Revolut’s been on a roll in the Philippines since last year. Back in July 2025, the company launched its Global Tech Hub in Manila to enhance its global capabilities and accelerate innovation.
Fast forward to June 2026, and we hear buzz about an early-access waitlist for local users here, which further hints that the global financial technology company is pushing its expansion efforts.
Now, what features could come your way if Revolut finally launches in the Philippines? Based on what’s already turning heads in other countries, here are some of the fantastic features we might see on the table if it happens.
1. AIR, the Money Assistant You Can Chat With

AIR, also known as AI by Revolut, is a conversational AI assistant built directly into the Revolut chat menu. Chat with it, and it handles matters like budgeting, card management, and transaction breakdowns on your behalf.
AIR can help you with the different facets of your everyday financing, ranging from holiday budgeting and portfolio performance to travel essentials and subscription management.
Crucially, AIR is said to be secure, as it has zero data retention. This means that your personal data is not stored by third-party AI partners, nor is it used for training purposes.
Next, AIR is not able to conduct sensitive actions without your biometric approval. Finally, AIR can only access the same data you can see, like transactions.
2. Revolut for Kids Gives Them Financial Training Wheels

If you’re a parent, chances are you’ve always wanted your kid to explore digital finance and learn how money works, especially without you hovering over their shoulder.
Revolut for 6-15s pairs a dedicated app with a debit card for six- to 15-year-olds. Children get the freedom to explore both, while you keep an eye on things from your own Revolut app.
That oversight comes through features like instant transaction notifications and spending controls that block age-inappropriate categories such as alcohol, tobacco and gambling. Should you ever need to freeze or unfreeze your child’s card, that too is handled in-app.
Your child, meanwhile, gets to show a little personality with custom debit cards, which work for payments and withdrawals, even when they are travelling abroad. They can also go fully digital with virtual cards and add them to a Google Wallet.
Funds for kids can come from trusted contacts, automated allowances set by parents, or even friends. If money ever runs short, the child can request a top-up too.
3. Disposable Debit Cards To Keep Fraudsters Away

Revolut’s virtual cards take things a step further, letting you manage cards that exist only within the app. Much like a traditional debit card, each one comes with a 16-digit card number, a CVV code and an expiry date.
There are two types to choose from. A multi-use virtual debit card behaves just like your physical card, making it well suited to recurring and contactless payments.
Revolut disposable debit cards go further still. The details refresh after every transaction, which makes them a nightmare for fraudsters and ideal for one-off online purchases.
Whichever you opt for, Revolut’s virtual cards are designed to keep your card security in your hands, and you can still pay overseas in 30+ currencies straight from the app.
4. RevPoints for Rewards that Reach Your Debit Card

Most of us are used to collecting airline miles through credit cards, a rewards scheme that rarely extends to debit cards.
Revolut is changing that with RevPoints. Earn one point on eligible spending, and you can redeem it 1:1 for airline miles, stay discounts and other perks.
The feature also includes spare change round-ups. Revolut rounds up your eligible card purchases to the nearest pound, currently a UK-only option, and uses the difference to buy RevPoints on your behalf.
Points can be transferred into miles with carriers such as British Airways and Air France, redeemed for gift cards from leading brands, or put towards more than 3.6 million holiday properties through Stays.
5. Revolut eSIM for Data Wherever You Land

If staying connected while travelling is a concern, Revolut eSIM offers a neat solution that works like a virtual SIM card.
Revolut eSIM gives you instant data across more than 100 countries, spanning Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific.
The plan comes with 3GB a month on Revolut’s Ultra tier. You could also customise the plan based on your needs. Getting started is simple: install the eSIM once, in-app, and connect whenever you need to. Do note that terms and subscription fees may apply.
The bonus is round-the-clock customer support, with your money also protected by biometric security and card controls you can tailor to your liking.
