Asialink Finance Corporation (AFC) released more than PHP13 billion in loans from January to September 2026.
Business and MSME loans now account for over 55% of the Philippine lender’s portfolio. As of September 2026, its loan portfolio reached about PHP26.9 billion, up 20% year on year.
Monthly loan releases remained above PHP1.2 billion throughout the nine-month period. They averaged PHP1.45 billion per month, compared with PHP1.36 billion during the same period in 2025.
AFC said July 2026 brought its highest monthly loan releases, at PHP1.73 billion.
Vehicle refinancing leads Asialink Finance’s lending
Car refinancing recorded the highest releases of any AFC product during the period, at about PHP4.32 billion.
Second-hand car financing followed at PHP4.17 billion and truck refinancing at PHP1.52 billion, putting the three vehicle-related products at roughly PHP10 billion combined.
AFC served 14,926 MSME clients nationwide in the first nine months of the year.
Between January 2024 and September 2026, the company said it released about PHP29 billion in loans and served more than 57,000 business and MSME borrowers.

“Our loan releases reflect the financing needs we continue to see across the market. As businesses grow, their financing requirements also evolve, and we continue to expand our solutions to meet those needs while maintaining disciplined and responsible lending,”
said Anna Katrina C. Bañez, President and CEO, Asialink Finance Corporation.
GrowBiz Loan extends credit to medium enterprises
AFC is extending its business lending to larger borrowers. In September 2026, the company launched the GrowBiz Loan, which gives qualified medium enterprises access to up to PHP100 million for expansion, equipment and vehicle purchases, inventory, new locations, working capital and other growth needs.
Bañez said the aim is to match financing to the scale and requirements of the businesses AFC serves, rather than to offer bigger loan amounts alone.
“We want to be a financing partner that businesses can rely on as they move through different stages of growth,”
she added.
AFC, which received a PHP4 billion investment from Malaysian private equity firm Creador in 2024, operates more than 255 branches nationwide and has over 2,600 employees as of September 2026.
