BSP and Department of Labour and Employment Sign Data Sharing Pact
This partnership aims to improve policymaking by allowing the BSP to use labour market data to ensure price stability, while DOLE will benefit from BSP research to strengthen its employment strategies.
The two agencies signed the agreement at the BSP’s head office in Manila on August 29, 2025.
Through this partnership, both institutions intend to aid their policymaking by securely exchanging relevant data. Access to DOLE’s labour market data will allow the BSP to more closely monitor employment conditions, which will inform monetary policies aimed at maintaining price stability.
In turn, the BSP will use this data to produce research that can assist DOLE in strengthening its employment policies and improving its facilitation services.
BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr. commented on the potential benefits of the collaboration.

Labour Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma also expressed confidence in the partnership, stating that it could help strengthen DOLE’s employment facilitation services, the nation’s workforce, and elevate the quality of employment available to every Filipino.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties have committed to upholding data privacy and security standards in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and relevant guidelines from the National Privacy Commission.
