Maya has launched the Bukad Card, a special-edition Visa-powered card featuring illustrations by Filipino artist Raxenne Maniquiz, according to Maya’s own deals page.
The card takes its name from “bukadkad,” the Filipino word for a flower in full bloom, and its release marks Maya’s full transition to 100% recycled plastic across all newly produced wallet cards, ahead of the company’s year-end target.

“Sustainability must be built into daily operations,” said Shailesh Baidwan, Maya Group President. “This makes responsible sourcing standard for products customers use every day.”
Maniquiz’s illustrations fill the card with flowers, foliage and wildlife inspired by Philippine nature, according to Context.ph.
Buyers can get the Bukad Card for PHP 350 in the Maya app, with doorstep delivery available for an additional PHP 50, and earn 1% cashback on in-store and online purchases in the Philippines.
Users can link up to 10 physical cards to a single account, and delivery takes up to 12 working days for Metro Manila addresses, or 15 to 20 working days elsewhere.
Maniquiz’s artwork also extends into a limited-edition Bukad scarf, available exclusively at the PURVEYR Fair on September 12 and 13 at the World Trade Center Tent.
Fairgoers who buy the Bukad Card for PHP 350 at the event receive the scarf for free.
The release adds to Maya’s recent run of limited-edition and updated card offerings, following its expansion of Google Pay support to all Visa wallet cards and an earlier Pink Glitter Edition card release.
