GCash is marking its 22nd birthday with promos running until 31 October, including PHP 10 chicken meals and a raffle for 100 motorcycles, parent company Mynt said.

The celebration, which GCash calls a “pasalamat” (thanksgiving) blowout, began on 20 October. Free MRT-3 rides for GCash users, offered from 20 to 23 October, have already ended.

PHP 10 Chicken Meals

Until 31 October, users can claim a limited-time PHP 10 voucher in the GCash app for chicken meals at select branches of KFC, Chooks to Go, Andok’s, Baliwag and other partners across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Offers vary by brand and location.

To use it, users need to save the voucher to the voucher pocket in their profile, order in person at a participating branch and pay with GCash Scan to Pay.

Credits and Raffles Through GBirthday

Users can also open GBirthday in the app, complete an eligible transaction and shake their phone to win instant GCash credits of PHP 10, PHP 50 or PHP 100. Each play earns raffle entries for bigger prizes, including up to PHP 100,000 in GCash credits and 100 Yamaha YTX 125 motorcycles with free insurance through GInsure.

Overseas Filipinos can join a separate “Shake It, Win It” raffle by adding money to their GCash wallets or sending money home. Three winners will each receive round-trip flight tickets for two.

First Birthday as a Listed Company

The anniversary is GCash’s first since Mynt went public. Mynt debuted on the Philippine Stock Exchange this month, after an IPO that let retail investors buy shares through GStocks PH in the GCash app.
