Henry Aguda Named as President and CEO of UnionDigital Bank

Henry brings with him a wealth of experience in technology and transformation and a strong track record of success in the banking industry.
In his new role, Henry will be working with the team to provide innovative and customer-focused digital banking solutions to the UnionDigital clients.
Prior to this, Henry held several positions at UnionBank namely as its Chief Technology and Operations Officer as well as Chief Transformation Officer.

Henry said in a LinkedIn post,
“I am feeling extremely grateful for the opportunity to lead UnionDigital Bank as their new President and CEO. It’s truly an honor to have been selected to guide this subsidiary of UnionBank of the Philippines.
I’d like to extend my thanks to the Board of UnionBank for entrusting me with this new responsibility. I can’t wait to embark on this new journey as the CEO and President of UnionDigital Bank.”
Henry also served as the Chairman of City Savings Bank where he was able to push for greater financial inclusion through data-driven credit-scoring and acquisition models.
He added that he was looking forward to apply this experience at UnionDigital in order to reach the underbanked segment in his new role.
