Metropolitan Bank Taps Temenos to Innovate its Wealth Management Services

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank), one of the Philippines’ major banks, has initiated a partnership with Temenos and Collaboration Betters the World (CBTW) to integrate Temenos Wealth into its services. This move aims to enhance Metrobank’s existing wealth management offerings.

The introduction of Temenos Wealth is expected to provide Metrobank with access to the current-generation digital banking technology from Temenos. This includes sophisticated wealth analytics powered by artificial intelligence, streamlined processes for digital onboarding, and a variety of self-service options, including robo-advisory and goal-based planning.

The adoption of Temenos’ advanced technology platform, along with its flexible API-driven architecture, is expected to facilitate easier integration with current and third-party applications, potentially reducing costs and risks while enhancing business flexibility.

Designed specifically for advisors and portfolio managers, Temenos Wealth will offer a consolidated view of crucial client data, to support efficient management of portfolios at scale. The technology aims to improve productivity by automating investment processes, generating orders, and conducting compliance checks.

This includes the creation of automated workflows for client interaction, ensuring that appropriate checks are conducted and logged for audit purposes. The implementation of this solution will be overseen by CBTW, a Temenos Delivery Partner known for its global reach in creating and deploying technological and business solutions.
