BTI Payments, a subsidiary of Australian ATM and payment technology leader Banktech, recently partnered with Ayala Malls to launch their Pay&Go kiosks at Ayala establishments around the country. Strategically placed self-service kiosks in Ayala Malls in key urban areas will add to BTI’s growing network of 1,000+ kiosks nationwide.
These innovative terminals allow Filipinos to easily make bill payments, purchase load and top-up digital wallets for financial accounts. They will no longer need to line up or travel far from their homes and offices, since the Pay&Go kiosks are now present in the malls they frequently visit.
“The pandemic has shown us the importance of increased access to safe and hassle-free transactions, with digital and contactless payments exponentially rising over the past two years. Just this year, our customers have already made close to 15 million transactions with about Php30 billion in value, and we expect this number to grow,”
said Dan Ibarra, Chief Executive Officer of BTI Payments.
“We want to help with the campaign to enable the unbanked and underserved. Our channel simplifies the way users can gain access to their finances. That’s why we’re very happy to be partnering up with one of the largest mall operators in the nation to provide financial services for more of our customers.”
Pay&Go kiosks are set to provide numerous benefits to individuals and businesses alike. BTI Payments is partnered with many of the country’s biggest brands, allowing users to have a one-stop shop for all their payment needs. E-money wallets under GCash, Maya, and ShopeePay can be topped up, drivers can purchase reload PINs for Grab, while prepaid airtime can be purchased for Globe, Smart, Sun, and Dito. Bills payment will also be a breeze, with major utility, transport, and loan providers also available in Pay&Go kiosks through its partnership with Bayad.
Meanwhile, BTI Payments also ensures that their partner establishments experience the simplicity and ease of becoming a Pay&Go location. Partners can take advantage of its’ plug & play nature, which means that setup only needs a power outlet. Besides this, they also benefit from increased foot traffic to their locations.
“Our goal is to provide our mall visitors with a fast, secure, and efficient way to perform their financial transactions. Partnering with BTI Payments paves the way for an improved experience for our shoppers. They will now have more time to dedicate to their loved ones and enjoy their visits with us, since less time is spent on their payments and other errands,”
shared Renz Casanova, Operations Manager of Greenbelt.
“We’re glad that there’s more reason to come and visit our mall,”
he also stated.
Besides Greenbelt, other locations where Pay&Go kiosks have been installed include Glorietta, Alabang Town Center, Ayala Malls Circuit, UP Town Center, Market! Market!, Solenad, and Fairview Terraces around Mega Manila, as well as Capitol Central in Bacolod, Central Bloc in Cebu, The District North Point in Negros Occidental, and Shops at Atria in Iloilo. These locations add to Pay&Go’s continuously growing network of partners, which also includes Lawson, Alfamart, Robinsons Supermarkets, Mercury Drug and Waltermart, among others.
“At BTI Payments, we want to be present wherever the customer goes – where they live, work, and shop,”
said Mariel Medina, Head of Commercial for BTI Payments.
“Our mission is to enable more Filipinos of all backgrounds to make safe and convenient financial transactions. Expanding our national footprint through these key partnerships increases the overall presence of self-service channels in the country as the digital revolution continues.”
